First established in 1898, W.A Read & Sons Ltd has continued a long family tradition of manufacturing and suppling brushes across multiple sectors and industries.

Owned and operated by the Read family and beginining in East London, the company started hand making brushes with a small team. 

Since then we have grown and moved with the ever-changing times, and offer a large range of both hand-made and also mass produced brushes for all applications and industries, whilst still maintaining the close family operated business we started with. 

After being in East London since 1898, we moved to Essex in 2019. The much larger premises, offers greater warehouse and stocking abilties and also the ability to add new technology to aid manufacturing and proceses. 

As a long established family business, we strive to offer the highest quality products suited to the tasks required. We take pride in our products, and always aim to give the best customer experience.  

Alongside hand producing items in the UK, we also have strong relationships with European producers of industrial brushes used across multiple industries and sectors. These relationsips allow us to offer quality workmanship, reliable supply chains and competitive prices.
